Orkney Cruise Season Starts in Earnest

Bank Holiday Monday, the 4 May will see the start of the busiest cruise season in Orkney to date following 5 port calls in March and early April in itineraries primarily related to the Eclipse, but May sees the arrival of 22 port calls including the largest ship of the season the Royal Princess with potentially 3500 passengers on board. June offers 15 port calls with the arrival for the first time of Aida ships. There will be 28 calls in July with the return of the Queen Elizabeth and the first time visitor Disney Magic who is also calling 3 times in 2016. Eleven calls in August, three in September and one in October will deliver 83 visits for the season.
