Big Orkney presence at All Energy. Aberdeen 19-20 May 2010.
Following the success of the 'joined up collaborative approach' by Orkney at Europe's major renewable energy exhibition 'All Energy' at Aberdeen last year, there will be an even greater presence by Orkney at this years exhibition from the 19-20 May at the AECC.
Orkney Islands Council's Marine Services and Development and Regeneration divisions will be jointly exhibiting within the Orkney Pavilion along side local companies such as EMEC,Aquatera, Xodus Aurora and ICIT.
By this time, the Crown Estate will have made it 's long awaited announcements on the current leasing rounds and the refurbishment of the former naval base at Lyness will have commenced, so there will be plenty to talk about.
A full scale 3D model of Lyness in concept form as a base for marine renewables will be on view and the new Marine Services brochure will be formally launched.
