Cargo Handling: Conventional
Fresh water is available via
25mm hose. Pier is of sheet pile
construction with limited fendering.
Fuel and groceries are available
from the shop at the top of the pier
as is the local post office. Fuel is
also available for members of the
Orkney Marine Fuel Co., from a
bunded tank located on the pier.
Two yacht mooring buoys lie close
to the pier for yachts up to 18
tonnes.

Toilets and shower facilities are
located at the head of the pier.
Longhope Lifeboat is tationed
at the pier on its own berthing
pontoon. The local ferry berths at
the pier overnight.
