Vessels underway in Stromness Harbour should be aware of the area of shallow water in a position approximately 80m due east of the navigation light located on the North Pier.      (58 º 58.76’N            003 º 17.63’W)

 

Vessels approaching or departing the breakwater pier & marina should pay particular attention to their course to ensure they pass a safe distance from the shallow area identified having due regard to other vessel movements.
